Here's one for the ladies. So long stretch marks....
1. Olive oil
Rich in antioxidants and nutrients, olive oil aids the regeneration of cells, which helps restore the skin to its pre-stretched glory.
Warm a few tablespoons of olive oil, then massage gently into the affected area until completely absorbed.
2. Alfalfa leaves
These contain amino acids and vitamins E and K, which improve skin health and tone.
Mix 1 tsp alfalfa powder (available online or in health food stores) with a few drops of argan oil (I use The Ordinary) to form a paste. Gently massage into the affected area twice a day.
A natural exfoliant for skin, sugar is one of the best home remedies to get rid of stretch marks.
Combine 1tbsp of granulated sugar with a few drops of almond oil and lemon juice. Rub into the affected area for 10 minutes and then rinse.
4. Aloe Vera
One of the most effective home remedies for stretch marks and skin problems.
Apply aloe vera gel to the affected area and massage gently until completely absorbed.
5. Cocoa buter
Cocoa butter enhances blood circulation, which helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and prevent them from appearing. Great for use during pregnancy.
Massage a small amount of cocoa butter into the affected area twice a day for two months.
6. Egg whites
Rich in proteins, egg whites can help to restore skin's elasticity and increases the production of collagen.
Whisk the whites of 2 eggs and massage into the affected area for 10 minutes, then rinse.
7. Lemon juice
The acid in lemon juice helps fade stretch marks and scars.
Squeeze the juice from one lemon and massage into the affected area for 10 minutes then rinse with warm water.
8. Potato juice
The juice from potatoes is rich in minerals and vitamins. It promotes restoration and growth of skin cells.
Cut a few thick slices into the affected area until they become dry, then rinse and apply a light layer of moisturiser.
